Governmental Entity Defense

Kathleen was born and raised in the Detroit area. Looking for a change of scenery after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, Kathleen relocated to Salt Lake City to attend law school at the University of Utah. During law school, Kathleen developed a passion for defense litigation and courtroom advocacy while interning with the Utah County Public Defender Association. Kathleen has spent her professional career defending governmental entities and officials across the state against a variety of section 1983 civil rights claims and tort actions. Through this work she has developed an understanding and deep respect for the challenges and responsibilities public actors face each day, and works tirelessly to defend her clients against complex constitutional claims. She applies this same dogged persistence to defending medical professionals and other health care providers in medical malpractice actions.
