Casey is the head of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. His trademark practice includes both registration and litigation. He represents clients in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in federal actions involving claims under the Lanham Act, unfair competition, and domain name disputes.
Casey assists his clients in managing trademark portfolios both locally, nationally, and internationally and counsels clients on domestic and international brand name clearance, registration, use, and intellectual property protection strategies.
Casey also has extensive experience drafting all types of business contracts and assisting clients with corporate transactions. He acts as outside general counsel for many of his clients by assisting them in a wide variety of contract issues and representing them in disputes with third parties.
