Prior to practicing law, I worked in management at a tech company where my team and I solved problems for our clients. That mindset has remained with me as I began my practice. My approach to a business or legal problem is strategic thinking and long-term planning. Corporate work is my passion whether drafting contracts for large scale operations or helping small businesses procure new opportunities. My previous career has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of driving business performance and the stress that frontline management faces. With that knowledge, a substantial part of my satisfaction comes from knowing that I can help others preserve the businesses that they have poured much of their lives into building.
Outside the office, I love working on anything mechanical. Nothing more than an engine and a box of tools makes for the best afternoons. When not being a backyard mechanic, I enjoy getting outside and hiking in the mountains. In fact, every now and again, I make it up to the peak of Mount Olympus right here in Utah and manage to get there in a moderately competitive amount of time.
