Ryan C. Ulrich Associate

Ryan has experience in one of the most rigorous and extensive training programs on hard negotiation tactics, deal making strategies, and conflict resolution in the world—he and his wife are parents to a set of toddler twins.

In terms of more formal training, Ryan earned an accounting degree from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and worked in public accounting for three years prior to attending law school.   As an accountant, Ryan perceived the need for dynamic and creative thinking beyond the balance sheet to solve problems for clients and help them reach their aspirations.  He determined that becoming an attorney would better-enable him to fulfill client needs and help them overcome the challenges that invariably precede success.

Ryan attended law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he served as President of the Tax & Transactional Law Society and as a founding member of the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, which afforded him the opportunity to provide business clients with a variety of legal services in areas that included trademarks & copyrights, business entity formation & capitalization, contract negotiation, and tax planning.  Ryan concentrated his law degree in Tax and Estate Planning.  During his tenure as a law student, Ryan also wore the hat of professor as he taught undergraduate courses and developed curriculum on the subject of corporate finance.

As an associate attorney for the Strong & Hanni Business Practice Group, Ryan gets to exercise dynamic and creative thinking constantly.  The complexity and variety of issues that arise in business and in life are thrilling to Ryan, and he finds it most gratifying to help others in resolving them.  Whether it is across the conference table or across the dinner table, Ryan is eager to use his education and experience to support his family, friends, and clients in achieving their goals.
