Paul Belnap and Alan Houston obtain favorable jury verdict in quiet title lawsuit.

Strong & Hanni represented a local machine shop owner, Zdenek Sorf, in a quiet title lawsuit against the owner of a neighboring building and the alley that ran between the two parties’ buildings.  Mr. Sorf claimed an implied easement to use the alley for ingress and egress, parking, and deliveries to his building, while the opposing party argued that Mr. Sorf had no such easement over the alley.  After a four-day jury trial, the jury determined that Mr. Sorf did have an easement by implication to use the alley as he had for many years prior to the parties’ dispute.
