Ryan is a firm shareholder and a member Strong & Hanni’s Commercial Litigation and Business Law sections. He guides companies and individuals through complex business disputes, including contract and real-estate litigation, construction related claims, partnership disputes, and collection efforts, with a steady focus on practical, business-oriented outcomes. In the courtroom, Ryan has defended business owners, contractors, subcontractors, and network-marketing enterprises against claims ranging from breach of contract and fraud to multimillion-dollar construction defects and regularly assists businesses on collecting on debts and overdue accounts. Beyond litigation, he counsels new and established businesses on entity formation, corporate governance, and various compliance issues.
Ryan brings the same discipline he applies to legal work to his pursuits outside the office. An accomplished endurance athlete, he has completed 16 marathons, including the Boston, New York, and London Marathons, and has two full-distance Ironman triathlons to his credit. He is currently training for the Chicago, Tokyo, and Berlin Marathons to complete the World Marathon Majors series. A former scholarship athlete for Brigham Young University’s cross-country and track teams, Ryan channels that competitive drive into providing relentless advocacy for his clients. Away from the courtroom and the racecourse, Ryan enjoys time with his wife and four children, attending sporting events, hiking, golfing, and traveling.
