The firm congratulates our partner Spencer Brown on his recent win at the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. In the case of Owners Insurance Company v. Greenhalgh Planning & Development, Inc., Spencer represented the firm’s insurance client in a coverage dispute where the federal district court had ordered the insurance company to provide coverage for a construction company for a claim that was not covered by the insurance policy. Our client decided to trust us to fight the issue on appeal, and Spencer was able to convince a unanimous panel of the Tenth Circuit that we were reading the policy correctly and that it did not cover the claim at issue.
