Andrew D. Wright

Andrew started his career at Strong & Hanni in 1999. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage, defending insurance bad faith claims, and defending significant first-party and third-party insurance claims. Andrew is the firm’s Insurance Practice Group leader.
Andrew has substantial experience with all lines of insurance including property and casualty, excess and surplus lines, commercial liability, and professional liability. Andrew also has extensive experience assisting insurers with insurance fraud, cause of loss, and other special investigations.
Andrew, and his team, assist multiple clients with expanding insurance opportunities by drafting policies and related forms in nearly every state, including writing proprietary insurance products that have been approved by regulators across the country. Similarly, Andrew has presented various insurance concepts to legislative and regulatory bodies, and has testified multiple times before lawmaking committees.
Andrew is a member of multiple jury instruction subcommittees, including the committee tasked with formulating jury instructions regarding insurance coverage and bad faith standards in Utah.
Most importantly, Andrew values professionalism, reasonableness, and a practical approach to litigating and resolving disputes. On the off chance you can’t reach Andrew in the office, he enjoys a round of golf, or experiencing the canyons of northern or southern Utah with his wife Julie, and their dog Joey.
