Karmen C. Schmid

I am a member of the Firm’s Health Care Law Group, focusing on medical malpractice defense.  I have successfully defended hospitals, physicians, nurses, home health care companies and other medical providers against complex medical malpractice claims.  I also have significant experience with product liability cases, including medical devices.

I passionately represent my clients in all aspects of litigation through trial. I recognize that malpractice claims are stressful for providers. To help ease that stress, I strive to develop a relationship of trust with my clients by keeping them informed, being available to them, and helping clients understand what to expect during the process.

I also defend companies and individuals against a variety of casualty claims, including claims for premises liability, commercial auto collisions, and workplace accidents.
