Eli Leggett

Eli is not only new to Strong & Hanni but is also new to Utah having relocated here after growing up on the East Coast.  He is on the aviation, construction, and insurance defense teams at Strong & Hanni.  Before moving to Utah, Eli spent his first year out of law school as a clerk in Orlando, Florida, working at a Labor Law firm representing some of the largest labor unions in the country.  He also has experience working for Pennsylvania’s Court of Appeals as an appellate Clerk.

Eli graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2020 with Bachelor’s in Political Science, and then received his JD from West Virginia University College of law in 2023.  While in law school, he led the school’s ACLU chapter, as well as the Labor Law Society and Employment Lawyers Association.   He is barred in Utah and West Virginia.

In his free time Eli enjoys hanging out with his cat Wayne, playing The Legend of Zelda, and dreaming of being cast on Survivor.  He is also open to all suggestions of the best restaurants in Salt Lake City.
