Madi is an associate attorney at Strong & Hanni, where her practice focuses primarily on insurance defense law. She represents insurance carriers, their insureds, and self-insured entities, handling cases from early investigation and discovery through depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial. She counsels clients on evaluating liability and exposure early, managing litigation costs, and resolving clients’ claims efficiently.
Madi grew up in a small town in rural Idaho, where she was born and raised. Before joining Strong & Hanni as an associate, Madi clerked at the Salt Lake Legal Defender Association for 2 years during law school, gaining hands-on experience in legal research and writing.
Outside the office, Madi enjoys spending any time she can in the amazing outdoors Utah has to offer, whether it be camping, hiking, skiing or snowboarding, or playing soccer and tennis. Madi also enjoys spending time with her two cats.
