R. Scott Williams
Of Counsel
Scott has 31 years of experience representing clients in State and Federal Courts. His practice focuses in the areas of medical malpractice defense and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has represented clients in a variety of medical malpractice claims defending doctors, nurses and other health care professionals. He has extensive experience in all stages of litigation including Jury trials, and appearances before the Utah Supreme Court.
He has also worked for many years as a Mediator and Arbitrator for Utah ADR Services in helping lawyers and their clients resolve cases.
Scott has also taught numerous classes for the University of Utah Osher Institute of Adult Learning, and was a recipient of the of the Brooke Hopkins Award for Excellence in Adult Teaching in 2023.
