Jehicob Torres

Jehicob Torres is a litigation associate at Strong & Hanni, where he brings a passion for advocacy and a strong foundation in trial practice to complex civil and commercial matters. As a law student, Jehicob won first place in a national moot court competition and was a finalist in two additional moot court competitions, distinguishing himself as a persuasive advocate in both written and oral argument

Before joining Strong & Hanni, Jehicob clerked for the Honorable Judge Alberto Rivas in New Jersey, gaining firsthand insight into courtroom procedure, trial advocacy, and judicial reasoning. He earned his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU, where he served as president of the Latino/a Law Student Association, volunteered with the BYU Community Legal Clinic, and was selected as a UCLI Durham Fellow. As a law student, he also externed for Justice Paige Peterson of the Utah Supreme Court.

He is fluent in Spanish, currently learning Portuguese, and dedicated to client service. When he is not working, Jehicob enjoys playing pickleball, hiking, and going Latin dancing. Jehicob brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to litigation, grounded in his deep ties to Utah’s communities and courts.
